Ways To Give
The Funding Need
Inspired by Children’s Vision International, Inc.’s mission, we are creating the Uplifting Children International Endowment Fund to ensure lasting financial stability for the ongoing work and impact of Children’s Vision International.
CVII is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity totally donor-funded, and each year they raise all of their budget needs through private donors in the United States and the United Kingdom. Their 2025 operating budget was almost about $900,000 per year. However, the government just increased the minimum wage for 2026 by 23%, significantly more than in prior years, adding financial pressure to CVII going forward.
We are partnering with HighGround Advisors, also a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity, which provides nonprofit investment management and gift planning solutions (highgroundadvisors.org). Our goal is to establish a $10 million endowment fund that will provide about 70-80% of CVII’s operating budget going forward and still leave room for their legacy donors.
We hope you will join us because your donations can also help “Change the Destiny of the Destitute” children in Bogotá, Colombia!

Summary of the Endowment Fund Agreement and Relationship with HighGround Advisors
Contribution to HighGround Advisors, a 501(C)(3) tax-exempt public charity, shall administer the donated assets comprising the gift as a permanent endowment fund to be known as the “UPLIFTING CHILDREN INTERNATIONAL ENDOWMENT FUND,” for faith-based humanitarian aid primarily for impoverished children in Latin America and other areas. If, at any time following the establishment of this fund, a restriction contained in this gift instrument regarding the use of this fund should become impracticable or impossible to achieve due to changes in the programs or priorities of HighGround or circumstances not anticipated by the Donors, then HighGround shall be allowed to modify such use restriction in a manner that most closely conforms to the Donors’ original charitable intent, to the extent practicable, or as otherwise may be necessary to ensure that the fund continues to provide meaningful benefit in support of the charitable purposes of HighGround.
If, however, Children’s Vision International, Bangor, WI, ceases to exist or ceases to be an exempt organization as described in each of Sections 170(b)(1)(A), 170(c), 2055(a) and 2522(a) of the Code, and also the corresponding provisions of any subsequent federal tax laws, and endowment advisors fail to recommend a faith-based organization providing humanitarian aid that meets the above-described requirements, then the balance of this fund shall be applied for the benefit of such other institution or agency as the Executive Board of The Baptist General Convention of Texas shall select, meeting such conditions and used in the same manner and for the same charitable purposes above-described (primarily for impoverished children in Latin America and other areas), but no portion shall be paid to a private foundation (as defined in Section 509(a) of the Code, or corresponding provisions of any subsequent federal tax laws), or to an organization or entity other than one so described in each of the Code Sections set forth above.
No part of the corpus or net income of this fund shall ever be diverted from exclusively charitable, religious or educational purposes.
This is a “best efforts” summary only. A copy of the current Endowment Fund Agreement, which may be amended in the future as needs change, can be provided upon request.
